Electro-Mechanical Site Engineer

We are looking to recruit a high quality Electrical / Mechanical Site Engineer with substantial experience of medium to heavy engineering with the ability to commission and start-up electrical control systems and PLC software for electro-mechanical capital equipment projects.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in site installation and commissioning, ideally being familiar with working overseas, together with project management skills and an excellent mechanical knowledge. The candidate needs to possess a sound electrical knowledge, and previous experience with Siemens S7 PLCs / TP and MP HMI’s / AC and DC drives, along with Profibus networks experience would be advantageous to the role.

Highly educated in a relevant engineering discipline, duties are to include reading design specifications and technical drawings, researching suitable solutions, and understanding cost objectives against allocated timescales. To be able to demonstrate an ability to solve on site problems and propose rectifying solutions, monitor products in use and provide feedback to improve on future design.

In addition, and to support the above the candidate will need to travel and spend time overseas on site. They will require good communication skills to liaise with the design team, clients and sub-contractors, attention to detail, self-motivation, and interdepartmental awareness are all desired for this position.

Design Engineer (Mechanical)

We are looking to recruit a high quality Mechanical Design Engineer with substantial experience of medium to heavy engineering.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience designing and detailing OEM turnkey projects, together with medium to heavy engineering OEM manufacturing experience. Auto CAD Inventor and Project Management experience would be advantageous.

A minimum of HND Mechanical Engineering qualification is desired, and duties are to include mechanical design calculations, adherence to customer and MRB specifications, preparation of specifications for sub contractors, and planning and assistance of site installation.

In addition, good communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and interdepartmental awareness are desired for this position.
